Application Process

The Baptist Faith and Message details the beliefs that we hold as a denomination. Click the button below to read about what we believe. In the application process, you will be asked whether your church has a faith and practice that closely identifies with our beliefs. If you have any questions about our beliefs, please contact us.

One of the best parts of joining the California Southern Baptist Association is the network of local churches that you can partner with. A local association is a family of Southern Baptist churches sharing a common faith, working together to fulfill the Great Commission in their setting. Not sure which local association you’re in? Go to our association finder and add your zip code and the three closest associations.

We try to make the application process as quick and painless as possible. The application will ask for information about your church and pastor, whether you agree with the Baptist Faith and Message, and about evangelism and cooperation. You will need your pastor and another member of your church to sign the document, and then we will take it from there. We look forward to working with you!
